Cathy Allen, founder of Friend Leaves, is a therapeutic horticulturist, botanical sensory expert, certified Master Gardener, and award-winning environmental educator. With over 33,300 instructional hours and years of experience designing programs for hospitals, grief centers, schools, and community organizations, Cathy brings a compassionate, grounded approach to nature-based care.

Her work centers on creating spaces where people can breathe, restore, and reconnect through plants, food, and seasonal rituals.
